Wheel Reconditioning Aberdeenshire??

Post by daved » Mon Sep 21, 2009 1:32 pm

Can anyone recommend somewhere for wheel reconditioning in the Aberdeen area? I have some corrosion and kerbing on my S1.

I would like to drop off the car rather than remove the wheels etc.

Thanks

PPS fibreglass in inverurie do a great job on powder coating - they did my audi when tawse tyres b**gered 2 of the wheels...!

As for not taking the wheels off and leaving the car with someone, i know that some of the dealers in aberdeen use a guy that comes around in a van and does it onsite - this was done to my Mini by JC before i bought it - give Tony Milne at John Clark Mini a call and ask him who they use, as im not sure exaclty who does it for them but if you get the contact details you could probably get it done at home or work?

hope this helps!

PPS Glassfibre: 01467 621907.

Tawse Tyres are about 80 yards from their place.

PPS have done all my wheels, and recently all my suspension units, to an excellent standard. However wheels have to go in without tyres.
