Fantastic piece of work.
Would be interested in the price....... based on "it's probably cheaper to wrap a car than paint it"

I really like the polished aluminium look on a car but my OCD would probably find flaws and bubbles which would rule it out for me as an option

:cheers

Looked for quotes to get the A6 Avant done and from memory 1200-1500 was about right. That was for Matt black effect.

Set me wondering - what colour do you have on the V5 if you get a car wrapped. The car is texhnically still the same colour - it only looks a different colour because of the wrap.

Guess I need to get out more.

When I had a rally car in the 80's it was described on the V5 as 'multicoloured'.

The V5 can stay as is but if you want to minimise the opportunity for being pulled, then i would change it..

I was going to get the blades and roof done in a Gloss Carbon effect when I bought it.. but then thought fake carbon maybe =uncool..

I've seen s'h carbon blades going for about £1200 per side, i'm pretty settled with the silver ones at the moment though. If I was going to wrap it i'd have to think very carefully and get some mock ups done on P'shop. Always loved the orange an black look, the good/dangerous thing about Wraps are that you can pretty much pick any colour...

:damnfunny

It would be a fantastic ( but expensive) wheeze to get someones car wrapped in pink ,or covered in flowers, or something suitably obscure while they were in work for the day

Pink would not be funny! For some reason I suspect Eve would say green (her current favourite colour) or orange as she misses the 'little orange' car.

Thing to watch if you do get a car wrapped; make sure the paint's spotless before the wrap goes on.

I've seen some wrapping and the car is just wiped with panel wipe then the vinyls are applied; not great.

Skilled job, wrapping a car though. I can handle a machine polisher but no way I'd be able to wrap a car. I can scarcely wrap a sandwich in cling film.....
