Spare set of wheels

Does anyone have a spare set of S1 wheels kicking about that I could borrow for the weekend ?

I'm hopefully doing SLS again and the weather is looking pretty pants and I was thinking about having a spare set with some tyres more suited to pants weather.

Happy to exchange beer tokens for the loan

Cheers

Scott

I have a spare set sitting at my house (Glasgow) if any use. Tyres on them are past it.

My wheels are the 111s OZ racing 6 spoke alloys. Not sure if they are a little larger (wider) than standard elise alloys. :? I use on the front; 195/50 R15, and on the rear 225/45 R16 :thumbsup

They are either a half inch or inch (I think the former) wider on the rear than standard S1 rims.

Not a massive amount of difference TBH and the standard recommended fitment for the narrower rears was revised up to the 225s anyway (originally 205 P-Zero)

:thumbsup Thought it was something like that - necessitating the wee spats on the rear wheel arches. My concern was it would screw up the set up for Scott's car.

Hat's off to your levels of geekery Mr Shug :thumbsup

The wheels point towards the nearest carrot :-)

Sometimes the donkey should be taking the stick rather than the carrot. John Cleese style, a damn good thrashing
