Team Still Game, are having their annual outing to the USA Gp, next week, complete with corporate hospitality, and a couple of chaps called Stevie Wonder and Justin Timberlake to provide the entertainment!

Transport when we are there is courtesy of my daughters hubby’s 1973 Cadillac Eldorado convertible, ( Think JR Ewings car without the horns on the front)

Apparently Mr Boag feels he should buy a stetson, I already have one over there!

It will be an interesting long weekend! :cheers

So Iain is straight off one holiday and on to another?

Great life, go for it.

Enjoy the the US GP boys!

F1 this season; Lewis had a tough start to the year, as MB struggled to set up their car. They had designed it around some suspension concept that the FIA outlawed just before the season started, so have had a bit of a tricky car all season. Meanwhile Ferrari and RB have been making good progress. Things looked set for a great title battle. I do now wonder if Ferrari have been a bit too greedy with performance from their power unit, which is now punishing them with poor reliability. They have really shot themselves in the foot over the past three races, gifting Lewis his comfortable championship lead. It looks likely that he will take the championship, however, what's to say MB couldn't suffer the some bad luck for a few races, and fate would swing back to Seb. Seb had also got away with a few mishaps,.. probably the new F1 management trying to give out fewer penalties, Bacu for example. Years gone by, he would have taken some penalties through the season, so perhaps his recent mechanical issues are a bit of Karma. I think LH would be a deserving champ this year, his driving has been exceptional, esp in qually, and has kept his cool on and off track. He has at times out performed his car. SV has also been fairly good, but not quite as exceptional as LH, he has at times shone, but also has had weaker moments, and seems to have anger issues. I do feel that the results in the last few races has robbed us, the fans, of a good championship battle to the end... but it's not over yet! Have also enjoyed seeing the sportsmanship between the drivers, their apparent enjoyment of battling with each other and the respect they hold for one another.

Other points of note; Danny Ric & Max seem to be mega drivers, esp Max. He has had too many DNFs (maybe too hard on his car???), but when it comes together, he is mighty. No doubt a future champion.
