Ferrari 456: Design Classic, or just dated?

Post by GregR » Mon Feb 05, 2007 2:26 pm

Just saw one on the front page of PH - of all the recent Fezzas, its the one I think about the least. Having a nosey at some of the pics, I think it looks lovely, all it needs are some slightly bigger wheels and I think it would be spot on.

Whats the thinking amongst you lot?
No doubt I'll end up with a PH 'gonnae no link that' image in due course

It's a classic, good looking design,... just a shame the Hyundai Coupe copies the details & overall look so much.

I think it looks pretty sweet :D

Wasn't a fan of the 360 design though

One of my faves, plus there's space for my kids in the back!

Getting cheaper by the day too - seen them down in the low to mid 30s... 8)

I'm sure upgrading to Fez-spec 18s or 19s would look nice, but may fook up the handling & ride

I think it looks great. I guess the reason it has small wheels is to accomodate higher profile tyres. It is supposed to be a big comfortable touring GT after all.

I think its a beaut, and cos its a 4 seater ferrari they are cheap as chips (well for a ferrari) I've seen em for as little as £35k.

A cheap Feza thats not that bad to drive ( I have driven one and its not bad but still a bit behind a 550) Expect 550 running costs - look at Evo reports for Harry's running costs to give you an idea.

Friend of mine in Manchester has got a 456 up for sale. The car he has bought instead is, er, a bit different - wait for it.......an Exige S! Needless to say the 456 running costs are huge  I think they look great though - classic and understated. Interestingly, according to my mate, resale values for the 456 are better if the car is just about any colour except red, blue and silver being the most favoured.
