We all get older - I just don't care as much as some
I hope to come across more pictures 10 years from now, and no doubt I'll look even older/fatter in those, inshallah.
If you can take the time to look through all the pictures on that collection, you'll see a lot of younger looking people - Tut included!! Unfortunately the 99 collection of pictures is quite small (presumably still real photographs on film in those days), so not so many faces in there that you'll recognize ... other than Tony & Jane of course.
BTW, I got in touch with Tony (Hi Tony, if you're still reading here from time to time) and he confirms that they are Jane's pictures - thanks go to Jane for taking them and putting them online for me to stumble across 10 years later whilst trying to dig up some old Stelvio route information - I spent a good few hours wading through those and it brought back loads of great memories (there's a couple of Greg Blackband in there, and at least a few of Gil's car, if not Gil himself). I also came across Gil's diary of the 2001 trip
With Stelvio then as FF now - SE in the thick of the action in the cars and the bars
