Lotusless :-(

Post by Ferg » Sat Jun 10, 2017 1:41 pm

Still getting over it but sadly sold the Exige leaving me Lotusless for the first time in 8 years. Sad times. The car went to a very nice chap down south who will continue its restoration to A1 condition. Must admit, I 'shed' a tear.

Why? Well a house came up round the corner that we always fancied and we would have regretted not going for it. So far so good as our offer was accepted so the car sale wasn't in vein. It may take a wee while to get back into a Lotus but the fund will be setup shortly. And when I do there will be a double garage to put it in 8) .

In the meantime I'll still pop along to KH and meets and might even convince my old man to let me have the odd spin in my old Elise. :thumbsup

Good luck with the new house Ferg, and I am sure it won't be too long till the return of a lotus, on the up side, your lap top may get a rest now :-)

The annoying thing about Edinburgh is I bet you're Exige loss didn't even cover what you had to pay over the asking price to secure the property, prices in Edinburgh are crazy

Sorry to hear that Ferg, I did love that car.

I sold my s1 last August for the same reason, I should be picking up the (new to me) Lotus this weekend. You'll be in another soon enough :)

All the best with the house purchase!

Mark.
