Photobucket - pay or loose it

Post by IanD » Sat Jul 01, 2017 4:43 pm

Photobucket have changed their terms & conditions and asking people $399 to retain image hosting for embeddding into sites and forums like this.

Loads (seem to be high users initially) have already been blocked, many very unhappy people, so expect to see lots of older posts missing the pictures :(
Speculation photobucket have started a panic and will reduce it to a reasonable amount which people would pay for a least hassle solution, lots saying it will be the death of photobucket as they are so pissed off and now aren't willing to pay anything due to the way PB have gone about it. PB certainly has been going downhill with huge amount of advertising when you are in their site.

Mine still work at moment but looks like just a matter of time.
What are people using these days to host images paid or unpaid ?

$399

Amazon Prime , unlimited file storage @ 79 per year (was discounted to 55 per year recently).
Extra 55 and you get unlimited video storage too (file size limited to 2GB).

Plus the usual free next day delivery , Prime Video (like Netflix), Music streaming etc.
