Frolic route to Dijon

Post by Kinger » Fri Aug 04, 2017 10:52 pm

Hi,

Forlic is looming fast, I've got all day to get from Calais to Dijon. I was wondering if any you guy's could recommend a good driving route down.

I'm just looking for a lazy drive down away from motorways if possible.

Cheers

As mentioned in the Frolic thread we're going to try and just avoid the autoroutes relying on satnav and see how it goes, should be interesting.

Cross-country trough Picardy To Reims (with the obvious old racetrack stop) is lovely; then down through Epernay making sure to stop in the old town of Troyes for lunch......then a very lazy drive down the D971 trying to avoid vineyard stops would be my choice
