Amsterdam to Spa Alternative Route?

Post by rossybee » Fri Aug 18, 2017 11:11 pm

Heading to Spa next week in the Cerbera, don't really want to trudge along the E31/E25, any of you seasoned campaigners know of a more scenic and fun route?

Don't say Stelvio :damnfunny

Where's the long post telling us all how it went?

Did you make it back in one piece?
Did the TVR wow the locals?
Was another yellow vehicle required to get you back home (you know one that has yellow lights on the roof and appears at the start of the phone book)

Not had a chance! Was home, had to MOT 2 cars and sell one of them, and organise the service of two others, take the house off the market, cancel the new house, then away back to Angola!

But yes it was a brilliant trip, the car ran faultlessly, even with the odd foray deep into 3 figures, and a very long and hot tailback getting round Eindhoven on the way home...

It certainly turned heads with the colour and noise, especially as there was a real lack of decent motors, compared to Le Mans
