Speedo issue

Post by ExigeKen » Tue May 27, 2008 12:43 am

My speedo sits at 10mph with engine off and then jumps to 18mph when engine running. RPM sitting at 5 as well when engine off. Have had GPS in car and when doing 60 accoring to speedo GPS shows 40.

Any ideas?

Swap you... My license could use a speedo like that

Is there a reading on the speedo when the ignition is off completely, or just when the engine isnt running?

I was reading 20mph to start with, which meant that when I drove at 30mph through a speed camera I was doing 10mph :damnfunny

Strangely the MIL has gone off now as well, after 5 restarts after resetting the computer :thumbsup
