Bonnet bolts

Post by KevD » Sun Nov 13, 2016 9:10 pm

Does anyone know the size for the bonnet bolts? I've lost one  at least it's something on the do list I can diy

Do you mean the ones that go directly into the panel through the hinge?

It might be less DIY capable than you think..
The threads on my rear bonnet were screwed.. Any bolts just vibrated out or simply didn't go in in the first place.
I had to re-drill them bigger and fit rivnuts, which was a PITA, though I can't remember why..
Had similar issue with one of the fronts, but it was biting enough for some thread lock which may be something else to consider.

I thought it might be too simple :D it's headed over to Craig shortly ( once I get my finger out)for other issues so might be on his to do list rather than diy one.

I found the spec, part 8and 9 on diagram below( from deroure site ) m6 x 25mm setscrew. Is that the part you had problems with?
