So,
The Europa was parked up all weekend in the heavy rain in the borders. Went to drive back to the toon late last night and about 2 miles in the CEL came on.
I'm guessing the most likely cause is water somehow getting in and maybe getting into the plugs?
It felt like it pulled cleanly but tbh, I was hardly on the throttle coming home as the roads were horrific coming back so i wasn't really driving with vigor.
I'll get it booked into a local to get checked out but just thought I'd check to see if it was a known issue....I once goosed the S1's plugs with a pressure washer
Heavy Rain + CEL

Re: Heavy Rain + CEL
might be worth a search on vx220.org....the NA's are affected by water ingress and i know the turbos have a shield to protect the plugs from water. I'd guess the europa is the same
i3s, Volvo and more pushbikes than strictly necessary.
....did i ever tell you about the Evora and VX220 i used to own?

Cheers Donkey,
Code was for an intermittent lambda sensor issue. Mechanic has cleared it and given it a run and it has not come back on so fingers crossed.
