No travel bookings here yet either, Stu. No Zandy for me though, for sure.
We should meet up for a planning session!

Give Hendeg a PM and ask about the Monaco apartment.

Re: Frolic 13 (2015)
I'll most likely have a Zandvoort space available Stu as it now clashes with family holidays.Stu160 wrote:I still have not booked anything yet, not book Zandvoort either, so not sure what to do.

Frolics is fine but the 2 extra days at the start are too tight.

Re: Frolic 13 (2015)
So anyone looking for a space at Zandvoort let me know, just want to offer it here before I let Paul give it to a reserve.

Re: Frolic 13 (2015)
I will more than likely have it D, need to have a wee check on dates tonight, and get things booked.BigD wrote:So anyone looking for a space at Zandvoort let me know, just want to offer it here before I let Paul give it to a reserve.

Re: Frolic 13 (2015)
[Edited with map tweaks and finalised route / hotel info for Campbell's routes]
Friday 14th Aug
- at Walshy Day with 3 non-Frolickers, North Weald
- afterwards, eat nearby to allow M25 crush to subside
- round M25 to Folkestone (1hr 20) for 21.50 Shuttle (35mins)
- continue towards Saint Quentin for 01.00 arrival at IBIS Budget
Saturday
- Depart St Quentin 07.30 local, head for Metz area to RV with Zandy crew, by around 10am - https://goo.gl/maps/SNSFD - suggest the Aire de Lesmenils just south of J28 on A31 near Pont-a-Mousson
- Then to Geneva (6 hrs) - https://goo.gl/maps/IM8L4
- Stay at IBIS Saint Genis Pouilly
Sunday
- Geneva to Orange via some of Route Napoleon (6 hrs) - https://goo.gl/maps/jK4y2
- At the bar and/or in the pool by mid-afternoon
[insert much Frolicking]
Saturday 22nd Aug
- Orange to Calais (9 hrs) - https://goo.gl/maps/ckn4L
- Stay at IBIS Budget Tunel Sous La Manche (
Sunday
- 7.50am Shuttle (35mins)
- Folkestone at 8.30am local, head for home (8 hrs)
I'd love to do more of the Alpine stuff but I just can't spare the time, so the outward bits from Metz past Geneva to Gap area will just have to do for me. I'll hopefully get the Gorge du Verdon loop and maybe a Mt Ventoux adventure on days off between tracks?

Re: Frolic 13 (2015)
Hi Campbell
I am thinking hard as to what my plans are. Regret not doing the alps the last time, so thats a must. If i do Zandvoort, which is likely, then we could hook up on Sat, and head down, that would work.
