Just to wet your appetite, 2012 past trip review...
http://www.scottishelises.com/phpbb/vie ... &start=195
DN at the ring sounds expensive but closed track is the only proper way to do it and you can get a lot of laps!
(unless you're in a GTR in which case you spend about equal time in the petrol station as on track)

All characters appearing in this post are fictitious. Any resemblance to real persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental.
Any references to laptimes, speed or driving on the public highway are purely for dramatic effect.

Re: DN16 - Ring & Spa
Perhaps also the only way to drive the Ring in one's own car now too?

Re: DN16 - Ring & Spa
Andy is obviously showing signs that old age is catching up on him, and he can no longer stand the pace of getting bladdered on the ferry, and driving through europeshire with a hangover!Andy G wrote:Interesting gents.
Or stick car on the ferry , fly both ways ?
Haven't looked at it but another option? And collect cars from the port?
The comeraderie and craic on the ferry both going and coming back is part of the enjoyment of the trip?
This trip could be well suited to the matching pair of M2's being campaigned by Team Still Game after June!

Also interested.
Was thinking Spa on the Wednesday followed by beers then Ring on the Friday.

(that's why I think Mike will do fine, that and his lack of imagination).
