Spa - 16/6 with LoT
Anybody going???
I'm planning on being on track with the bike on the 18/19 and might go out a couple of days early if anyone is going to be there.
Cheers
Neil

Me??? Nothing else planned for Spa this year, but I'm planning hungaroring and Mugello for sure, and possibly Assen and Zandvoort aswell.

I'd love to but there is no chance as just back from the Ring and Spa yesterday.... I'd love to drive Spa as my car didn't make it after calling it a day on the second last corner of the 1st lap of the ring Drive shaft is most likely issue as completely lost drive out of the second (small) carousel and had to be rescued, £500 for Marshalls and recovery Watched the WEC at Spa and got some pax laps the next day so desperate to get the Elise out there and actually drive it lol...

That's a shame Mark. That's why I mentioned ADAC for euro breakdown as they recover from the ring as part of the deal. Or at least they certainly used to and it's normally ADAC lorries that do the recovery on the ring.mwmackenzie wrote:I'd love to but there is no chance as just back from the Ring and Spa yesterday.... Still didn't think it would be as much as £500. Makes a trackday there look very cheap. The one an only time I've broken down on the ring it was a trackday and I managed to get onto the link road to the GP circuit so didn't interrupt the trackday.

I was well off the frack on the grass on the inside of a corner so just a yellow flag on that corner was caused, £109 was for the marshalls to go on track and rest was recovery to Adenau to the ADAC garage But it wasn't their truck that came, I did have Rac Comprehensive Euro cover which is how the car is getting home

Yeh when I was going regularly I had ADAC euro breakdown which would recover you from the ring and also homewards, they use the AA in the UK. May well have changed though as that was almost 10 years ago.

Sorry to hear that, £500 is taking the absolute piss.
My favourite car place, but there are a lot of issues (especially if you are a Brit) with TF days

I think ADAC stopped allowing customers to join if you live outside Germany. Is anyone here a member who can confirm?BigD wrote:That's a shame Mark. £500 rescue is highway robbery.
