Cheers Andy, great night destroying what was left of my rear tyres!

(that's why I think Mike will do fine, that and his lack of imagination).

Thanks Andy
Nice to blow the cobwebs away. Never great to leave on a low loader but thats what shakedowns are for!
Seal on transmission failed leading to it dumping transmission oil in the paddock.
Better Knockhill than Spa!
Top night, perfect number of cars on track and great driving standards.
Nice to see folk too

As above, absolutely brilliant night, cheers Andy.

Definitely up for another before October, maybe a reverse night?

(I was talking to the marshall before I left and he said there hadn't even been any black flags for anyone - he sounded surprised! :damnfunny )

Not sure if it was anyone on here, but I hope the rather nice AMG merc was ok (which sounded awesome), driver gave it a boot full coming out of butchers IIRC, didnt catch it and spun onto the the infield oops. Also thanks to whomever it was that took Alison round for a few laps towards the end...

Great to catch up with a few folks and meet some new faces as well.

So glad I definitely didn't take Elaine's Evora out for a few exploratory laps *touches nose* to find out that long gearbox really isn't suited to trackwork. Weird on track with power steering when your brain is hardwired to expect Elise steering - still really good though, for a big comfy thing. Awesome road car though and my 3 hour drive home took a little less time than it should

Great track etiquette all night - awesome to see everyone (barring the ones who had mechanicals) having fun and reminded me why I used to love tracking the Elise - the actual track stuff is only 50% of the enjoyment of the event.

See you at the next one :thumbsup

Thanks again to Andy and everyone else involved in making it a great night. Best driving I've seen. Nothing too aggressive which was nice considering I had no insurance

Shug - would have been good to get an evora convoy on track. Next time? :thumbsup

You're very welcome.

I hope I didn't hold anyone up too much. Front tyres have seen better days, so the handling was interesting at times.
Great night though. I was surprised at how quiet it was at times (or maybe everyone else was just avoiding me). I managed quite a few laps without seeing another car - it got to the point where I started wondering if I missed the red flags
That was my first trackday for about 3 years. Must try harder.

Was a good evening. Was great to catch up with a few folk who I hadn't seen in a while. Thanks to scib and Jamie for the pax laps. The Aston is a beast and sounds epic.

Til the next one!! :thumbsup

Hi, my dad and I came down last night, he in his exige and me in my yellow s1.
First trackday with the forum and thanks to the organisers for a fantastic night. first trackday with the car since the "conversion" and only had one or two niggles which will be sorted ( the autumn gold exige, didn't have the s1 on) and cheers to all the folk driving, not many trackdays you can go to with such good driving standards.

I miss SE catch ups's (more so the beerage afterwards) - Having spent the cost of a ropey S1 on my central heating upgrade this week, perhaps I need to re-prioritise... :leave

You're heading in the right direction, Ross. Eventually, it'll happen!
