Another great night on track, thanks to all the Lotus contingent that turned up, glad to see we are out numbering the GT-Rs on track now :damnfunny

I think I counted an S1 Elise, 2 x V6 Exiges, an S2 Exige, 3 x 2-11, an S2 Elise and my Evora :thumbsup

Thank you for all coming along.

Andy - how were the new CL pads?

Thanks again for another great track night, the car was not on top form tonight, needing new discs, and tyres goosed, but still had great fun. Checked my vids when I got home, and managed a 57.5 s lap, so not all that bad. Time for a bit tlc on the car now before the Oulton / donny end of year double header.

Damn the Exige is rapid! (and its driver) I manged to breach the 61s barrier today so I'm slowly but surely getting better gone from 65 first track night to 63 on the second and now 61s tonight which means sub 60 is possible. I should gets some tips from you Stu :)

Yes, they were almost gone after the double header at Zandvoort, but have managed to get another 2 nights at Knockhill out of them. There is still a few mm in them, but they seem to have lost a bit of grip. I did have the pressure higher on the last session, but that didn't help, so think I had them right to start with.
Also needing new discs, I have had a slightly warped disc for a wee while now, so am going to see Craig, I needs a service now any way.
"Harry" tells me that there is a 56.4s lap in there somewhere Saj , just need to put it all together :D

56.4! That's GT-R slaying numbers :D

Craig tells me the Evora will do sub 60 so I know it is me that needs to improve. Would be good if any other Evora owners could let me know what to aim for. I like the challenge of improving each session even if is only half a second each time I track.

My virtual best is a 60.9 based on my best sector times so if I can string everything together properly I should eventually get there.

Yes, managed to get all the GTR,s I came across, only car that I let passed was the 911 turbo, had my tyres a bit to high so was finding it hard to keep up, done my best. It's quick in a straight line, that's for sure. Need to edit the video and post it up..

Cracking night guys. Bit slow in spotting this on here.

First track outing in the little Elise. very impressed with how it ran. Straight line is really only where its a bit lacking with only 140 bhp. I did a brake fluid change with Motul RBF 660 in preparation for the night. Very impressed with how the brakes were. Its got Pagid Discs with Mintex 1144 pads. went well all night not a hint of brake fade and the Yokohama AD08R's were impressively sticky.
