

I started off with looking for the bucket, which had vanished, along with my preferred pound-shop sponge. I eventually found a bucket in the shed and a sponge that was just the ticket.
Some £1.49 car shampoo in a turtlewax style bottle (looking at it closely, it clearly came from the same poundshop as the sponges

Now, not wanting to go into this detailing business half arsed, it was 3pm so I had put aside approximately 40mins pre-darkness to work some magic.
This thorough clean applied to the inside also, where I removed the mats and gave them a beating.
Grey hides dirt well



I used the sleeve of my hoodie and my finger to remove bits of tar and this nice "burnt exhaust" effect from the rear clam


cleans up well!

Will do until spring when its going to get a mini-makeover and someone else can polish it properly - its waaaay to cold at the moment!
