M5 Ring Taxi chasing in the Atom

Postby Andy G on Fri Jul 23, 2010 11:56 am

I'm guilty of having a tonne of videos and never editing them. I found this, remembered the utter joy that this lap meant for me, and how after having scare on the previous lap thanks to some c*ck i nearly hadnt gone back out - this was my 7th ever lap of the ring, and we'd spent most of the weekend watching them clear up.

After leaving the car park hoping to chase a Murcielago, GT2 and GT3 RS, i found they had vanished - as you'll see they didnt for too long, thanks to my handy M5 "guide".

A few shunts stop this from being a real flier, but what fun it was, and check the pace the M5 carries up the hill - i hit the limiter in 6th at 160mph!!!

:withstupid

:thumbsup Looked great fun, M5 was impressive too - that thing really pulls.
If it's got four wheels or a skirt you probably can't afford it !

at 2.50 you see us catch the Gt2, Murcie and Gt3 rs.

On the high res footage i have, you can also see the M5 leaving rubber on the quick stuff. What you can see are the paxs taking pics of me as i gave chase :D Looks so slow now though!

I was quite prepared to pay the 200E or so to go in the ring taxi was it not for the 3month waiting list, after seeing that I might as well give the money to you Andy :D
Also liked the picnic bench strapped to the back of the Lambo

:damnfunny

I'm a good bit quicker round there now, although having the Atom and a "guide" allowed me to compensate massively for not knowing the place!

Cant wait to go back :thumbsup
