It is a bit of an odd ball my one... Was one of the first batch of 135's that bad a replacement late type chassis fitted at the factory at some point. I am assuming it was a track day incident rather than an accident on road as it was never recorded. The previous owner used it extensively as a track day car..

So, was an original batch car, but as it had a replacement chassis, it also lost its silver roll over bar..

Effectively making it nothing special... Engine , fcuk knows where that came from now... I was told it is a 135 spec engine so I can only assume it came from a 135 MGF of whatever rover 25 variant had the 135 engine.

Car needs loads of stuff to get it running.. Basically had a pile of sh*t dumped back on my driveway...

Eventually, had to drill behind the plate. No boot release cable fitted.

So did Dan fit a different engine?

What else is missing other than the exhaust?

What suspension is fitted?

Are you running a standard ECU?

What was your previous spec?

Just being nosey :thumbsup

Engine, no idea where it came from, don't even know if it runs..

Still can't open the front hatch so no idea yet what is going on under there.

Suspension is old stock red koni dampers that came off my car years ago and sat on a shelf for about six years.

I was told that the car had an ignition switch fault, no idea if that was ever fixed..
Clutch hose needs replacing, he threw in an old original spec hose for me to fit myself.

Original spec was 204bhp Kseries. Which went bang... Then a 180bhp VVC unit.. Both running Jenvey throttle bodies. Suspension was Nitron, upgraded anti roll bar. brakes were AP disks front with EP discs on the rear.

They were removed as payment for returning me a fully running factory standard car. Intention was to sell it off and use the money as a deposit for an evora.

did the 135 not have LSS? Koni is not factory standard on your car? Really feel for you John, seems you've had a rough ride! :blackeye you selling her then?

It had red Koni's on it when I picked it up from Murrays when I bought it. Replacement chassis was not declared at time of sale either... All documentation was correct but it would have been nice to know it wasn't the original chassis. Effectively my car is supposed to be at one point a 135... Not original chassis, not original engine... I will be happy if I can get the thing running again without spending a fortune on parts... Biggest issue so far is finding time to devote to it. Family health issues putting the Lotus firmly into the fcuk that, will deal with it later pile.
