Is this the most expensive standard S1 around?

Post by rossybee » Sun Sep 24, 2006 2:01 pm

Spotted it this morning whilst passing the garage, so cast an eye over it

Very tidy, and low miles, but £15k?

Oh, and I didn't realise you could still get S1s at 51 plate, seeing as you get X reg S2s :?

Love the accuracy of these places:

Electric Windows
ABS
Central Locking
Air Bag

Yeah, but the AutoTrader adverts often refer to rear headrests... :?

When I was first looking to buy mine, I saw a Black S2 111S on Autotrader that had been modified to look a bit more like the 111R. However, they claimed it had also had ABS fitted. I didn't think that was possible as there physically wouldn't be room for it!

I like how that advert says it's got electric windows then when you look at the fourth pic you can clearly see window winders!

They are not window winders, that's the wind up electric dynamo to power the electric windows

Saw that too!

Always worried when the person selling the car is either trying to con you (ie what else is wrong with it) or does not have the faintest idea what is on the car (ie how badly has it been looked after).

But then I've always been a pessimist.

Calm down, its only been someone getting carried away with the drop-down menus when listing it on Autotrader.

But I do worry when you see reggy plates with lettering like that!

15k...... :damnfunny

The only good thing about that is that maybe the person who traded it got decent money for it.
