Shiny shiny

Post by dezzy » Sun Apr 15, 2007 2:49 am

Spent the Friday of the easter weekend getting rid of all the winter crap on the paintwork of the car:

1. Poorboy's slick 'n' suds wash (2 bucket method, of course ;) )
2. Meguiars clay (forgot how amazing these clay bars are!)
3. Meguiars step 1 paint cleaner (thanks for the tip DDtB)
4. Autoglymn super resin polish and the odd bit of T-cut
5. Poorboy's Natty's carnuba wax

Gave the car another wash after going out a blast this afternoon and took a few pics of its shinyness . . . I don't have a digital camera, so the crappy cameraphone snaps don't do it justice, but you have to appreciate that lovely beading of the water droplets! 8) :D Yes . . . I know I'm sad . . .

Spent 3 hours yesterday washing mine with Zymol shampoo, Auto Glym Super Resin Polish and Auto Glym High Gloss finish.

Here's how she looks. :D :D

Now I have been driving her for over a week now to and from work (Blantyre to Clydebank) aswell as lots of other places. Not yet have I been spotted  . Now I fully expect you weegie lot to look out for me and for my elise to be in the "was It You" section next week and in return I won't overtake you too many times at Tut Towers. :D :D :D

Should I be proud or embarassed that I've never heard of a single one of these products?
