If i am being honest , i dont think the slicks are as bad in the wet as everyone makes out , as long as you arent driving like a maniac they are fine , however the other day this little prick was up my arse in a golf gti ......"i'll show him" i thought ......doing bout 70 in 5th, i droped it into 3rd and done a big swishy swashy right across the road , totally shat my self amost hit another car , let the dooshbag through before nailing it past him on the next straight

oh and it was raining
anyway I have had a few scares but only when driving silly .
was dry today , man i love my car

I think this is kind of what I was getting at earlier. Things can happen in the wet that catch you out for just a split-second of misjudgement, and could be catastrophic.
However if Meatball has his Advanced Hot Pursuit Certificate, I'm sure he'd be able to recover a fishtail or two

i just take it easy, no serious acceleration especially before the apex of the corner, and everything seems to be fine. but then like i say mibee i just drive much more conservatively than everyone else...
I remember that lovely feeling of security....until one fateful morning, on a wet dark corner in straiton....the rest is history (and the car / me could have been too).
