bloody ragin , came back to my car tonght to find some wanker has drove into the back of me !! The damage aint so bad but the fiberglass is cracked for sure and its fairly noticable . Fookin bummer man
So heres the options ,
The full rear clam is gonna have to be resprayed i presume.
Do i go and get it resprayed myself ? dunno how much this costs ? obviously needs to be top job .
Do i claim my insurance ? can i even claim them as i have no idea who done it ?
I know you guys are good for advice , any thoughts or recommendations would be ace thanks guys .

Where in the country are you?
A repairer will possibly be able to repair the area damaged, and 'blend' in the paint.

Did you not check your excess when you got the insurance?!

£750 is pretty high.....
My brother just had a lot of stuff done on his birds mini at a place in Paisley - top top job and well priced, I was impressed. Can get you the details if you need them.

SW is great - but expensive compaired to other places...
Id drive it to a few places c what they say - would be wayyyy cheaper than ur excess!
(SW quoted me 2k for a respray once - got it for £800 elsewher and it was perfect!)

yeah excess is high alright, but i cant complain my policy was only £1600 , compared to the 6k quote i first got and the other 3/4k ones !
I am in Barrhead glasgow , That one in paisley sounds good JJ think you could find out details for me ?
I will take it to a few bodyshops to try and suss them out a bit first !
mosty worrying bout the colour match , apparently chrome orange is muder to work with . Also wonder if its a clam off job or masked up ?

Where were you parked? Did you get reg of any surrounding cars who could maybe remember the car that was parked behind you? Any CCTV cameras in the area?
Any pics? Has someone just bumped when parking or do you think it's malicious? Very unusual to have bumped the rear. It's usually the front people can't see when parking in front of you.

Or you could remove the fuse for the brake lights and go hunt out some stop start traffic

I've used Goudies in Kilmaurs (just outside Kilmarnock) twice for small repairs to mine and each time they have done a great job and taken cash
Definitely get a quote from him,

Tell me about it!

This morning, some @rsehole van driver decided he was more important than the rest of us and so cut up the hard shoulder while we were all stop/start queuing. I was rather pleased when I saw a Police traffic car zooming down after him with the blue flashy lights on!

J33,
I had an off on my motorbike a year or so ago and split the fairing. I was sure it was a replacement job but the local bodyshop, Hunter Ried, welded the split and blended the colour back in. The job was a good un.
If struggling call Tommy on 01357 528899 and tell him Stuart sent you. That'll add at least 20% to the bill.
