Today, I ended up driving one of these

Post by The_Rossatron » Sun Jul 16, 2006 10:10 pm

So had a small family gathering today and met a rather interesting person who happened to own the silver Pagani Zonda S that zips around Scotland.

Anyway he knew I liked my cars and I'd heard through my mum that he'd "take me for a spin in it" - I was pretty surprised when he handed me the keys and opened the drivers door!

I'll post a more detailed write up later but it was definately the best car I'll ever drive! 620bhp of V12 with only 1000kgs to push around. Still quite hard to believe it actually happened.

I have a video of me pootling away down my street but not sure how to upload it - here's a pic :)

Strangely his name is Gareth :) really really sound guy and agree all supercar owners should be like that :)

Of course I didn't rag it per-se but he certainly didn't mind me giving it some - 2/3rds throttle in a Zonda was scary enough for me! Especially considering i was piloting a £400k car with third party cover!

Simon, small world! I'd probably recognise you if I saw you! Calum is in the states just now coaching football.

Lucky guy. It sounded cool even reversing a few yards lol.

I think I saw it heading up the M9 at about 5ish today and it was still looking cool 8)
