Walshy Day: Driver Needed

Post by Tom » Mon Jul 24, 2006 9:29 am

We have a Walshy day booked for Tuesday the 15th August, down south. Someone's just pulled out, so we now have a space. Cost £180 for the day. Travelodge is also booked, you will be sharing a room, and the cost for the Monday and Tuesday night is £26 each, total (ie £13 each a night).

Ed and I are on it, and AndyG if his car's back. We're heading down on Monday, and driving back Wednesday(poss. although Ed and I might do wed as well and come back thurs.)

You've all heard how good these days are :D If you haven't heard and are new to the Elise scene, most people here will say that a Walshy is poss. the best way to improve your skills. I'm leaving the mods for the time being and learning to drive it properly   It means 3 days holiday, but you know it's worth it. Who's keen??

For anyone that may be a possible, to get my money back, i have to cancel at least 14 days before the date itself. I will wait as long as I can, till the 1st of August, before I cancel, as it would be cool to have an SE'er there, and make it 4 out of 4.

Will bump every now and again to bring this back up.

Come on, what better way to spend some of your holidays...... :D :D

Would love to come but will be in the good old USA right up until this date and then inlaws visiting so no amount of brownie points is going to get me out of it - which is a shame, 'cos I need some skillz :-)

I might have done this if I hadnt had to pay a £300 excess this month, whats the deal on getting tyres for the day? I might just be able to afford it if I can preserve the current rubber.
