Same thing happened to my Quad. The barsteward stole a van then rammed the door of the garage at my mates house in Bishopbriggs and stole the Quad. Only had about 7 hours use on it.

when did it happen?
Sounds like the same gang... It was a stolen transit and there was a couple of them in a van and possibly another few in an EVO VII
This was in Craigmarloch in Cumbernauld

Fraid it was about 3 years ago, though could well be the same gang. The have probably nicked countless bikes/quads over the years without any worries from the law as they wern't in the least bit interested. about six months later Skye pulled up some copper in Glasgow asking him if he had found her Dad's Quad bike yet. He hadn't a clue what she was on about but she assumed that the police were all still looking for the Quad bike.
My mate and I had bought it through our company Credit Card. We tried to claim for our "Honda Generator" (It did have a 240V output

) but the Credit Card insurance wangled out of it saying it was a motor vehicle and not covered by the crdeit card inusrance.
