All good here thanks Scott and you? Doing pretty well thanks Ross, I have been a bit quite on the forum recently for sure but working away, got a large public sector contract for our Neptune water safety product and a Scottish Enterprise Smart award to develop it further. Its a bit of diversificati...

Ally getting chased by the cops ...

I was waiting at the traffic lights heading in ferry direction at the end of Green Dykes when the blue light van went through the red traffic lights. Then I spotted you just in front of the van out the corner of my eye , clearly they were not on your tail  but exciting none the less. Could have...

Battery Booster for Lithium lightweight sport battery ?

Just thinking out loud here, the Cup has a Lithium lightweight sport battery thing and I was warned by Laura not to jump start in the normal way you would with a standard car battery as it will damage the battery. She took a fair bit of time explaining how to take the front panel off, attach a batte...

Top tip. For extra low car just roll a wheel onto a wood block or thick stone to enable the jack to roll under [emoji1303]

Did this for my S1 for years [emoji41]

Re: Puncture help

Got to say, Ronnie is a top bloke. Really knows his stuff and really helped me out. In addition he is going to do a puncture repair and drop of the old tyre next time he is passing. Also seems to be able to get stock from all over the place. The skirts on the cup make jacking up a completely flat ty...

Re: Puncture help

Thanks for the link Ian, that is really useful. I have Tyreweld and an air compressor in the car. Never used Tyreweld , was not sure how to be honest. If I was in the middle of no where that would have been the first option I think. Assuming this is the stuff if I need more ? https://tinyurl.com/4dc...

Re: Puncture help

Thanks for the post Ally :) really appreciate the response. Will take note of Hectyre for future reference. Wee bit out of my depth fixing Lotus stuff so learning as I go here. Re: Puncture help

So I have managed 699 miles on a rear tyre before needing a replacement :(

Guess I can try and puncture repair it and have it ready as a spare for swapping out in future.
