AD07 Advan Neova 175/55 R16 front tyres

Hi All, I have 2 used front tyres, Yokohama Advan Neova 175/55 R16s. I don't have a depth gauge, but I'd say they are easily 3-4mm. I have pictures and can send them if requested. Just trying to get rid of them and hoping someone can use them, so would be happy to swap them for a nice bottle of red ...

Watch lovers?

First time I've had something interesting to post on this thread... This arrived yesterday. Pebble Smartwatch. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/09/04/2y2y5apy.jpg Kind of thought there would be more apps for it, but still liking the connectivity with my phone. Planning on developing on it for a work pro...

Kids wooden desk, up to 6 years

We inherited this from a friend that made it for his daughter. It's about the right size for a 3-6 year old. The top opens for storage, with small compartments at the back for pens etc. Probably best for a girl as all the cut outs are heart shaped, but I know some boys don't bother about things like...

Kids cooker, wooden, hand made

I made this cooker about 6 years ago, kids have grown out if it.

It's fairly sturdy, size is about 450mm cube.

Door opens, and the knobs on the front can be twiddled.

Dunno what to ask for it, £10?

Car seat, 9-18kg, fits Porsche 993 rear and Lotus

Selling this car seat, it's an old style one, but it was the only one I could find a few years ago that fitted in the back of a 911 (993). It also fits fine in the front of an Elise, as it's a bit smaller than the newer seats. It's for 9-18kg, so roughly 9 months to 3 or 4 years. £30 ImageUploadedBy...

Apple iMaps

Saw an article recently that pointed out that Apple Maps are far superior to Google in China, and those using iOS 6 out there are very happy.

Where's the market for Apple devices growing the fastest....?

Premier Telecom?

Hi guys, Had a call from 'vodaphone' last week offering me a better deal on my 2 contracts. Seemed pretty good, nothing sounded dodgy, guy even explicitly told me when he was recording bits. Then today I got new contracts through, but they had a covering letter from Premier Telecom, who seem to be a...

Winter tyres. Discuss.

Interesting. I needed to get 2 new front tyres for my wife's Civic, and the garage recommended Hankook all season tyres, so I got them. They seemed pretty good in the snow on the way back - not quits as good as the full winters on the Volvo, but it's hard to compare as its AWD.

Guess we shall see!

iPad 4 v Mini

The Mini is nice for size and weight, but having compared it side by side with the bigger iPads the screen is the big let down. Nexus 7 screen is nicer. Not sure I could read many eBooks on. mini. I'm with Sanjoy, mini 2 early next year with Retina. They rushed v1 out for christmas to keep up with G...

That section of the M9 is terrible for standing water.

NLC - Fringe Festival recommendations

Morning All,

Heading to Edinburgh for a day and a half without the kiddies to catch some festival nonsense.

Got tickets for I, Tommy this afternoon.

Anybody seen anything else they'd recommend?

Re: Hybrid Evora...

Shame the battery's only have a range of 40 miles without running the engine  I guess the point is that when the engines running it'll run at its most efficient so you should end up using far less fuel even though the engine will still be running most of the time. This is certainly the theor...

S1 parked south of Crianlarich

Sunday afternoon, dark blue/purple S1 in a layby with a few other cars, gone climbing/walking I guess.

I was heading south from Oban.
