Keeping an eye out for a Citroen Ami as youngest Padawan will be able to drive it when 16.
Would be fine in town but in the wilds of rural Perthshire???
School run and visiting local mates.

Re: Anyone bought a new car recently?

aren't the heaters meant to be a bit rubbish on S1s? Nope. Better than S2 / S3 in my experience. But the 4 x face level vents in S3 are very good for warming hands on the wheel. Temperature to feet is lukewarm I find. S1 was better. 2023, surely modern heated clothing is the future. Sent from my iP...

Put All Seasons on the wagon last year, silly 35 & 30 profiles. Taking 2 weeks to get matching Vredsteins from Germany.
Are you getting them from mytyres? 19 days since I ordered and no sign yet

Stop messing about and post a pic, preferably not on a low loader.

Yeah, it's a slow burner - 500W I think - ain't gonna hit 90° unless it's in a vacuum :-). It struggles to maintain 18° if the rest of the house isn't heated!
Just double the voltage going to it, bosh. I should not really be having to teach you this Robin.

Re: Leccy cars

Think I might end up with Octopus. Not by choice like. They just bought Shell Energy I believe. [emoji848] That would be amusing - I just ditched Shell for Octopus and am disputing my final bill with Shell - I wonder if that will now ever be resolved ;-) I plan to move to whatever their dynamic tar...

Re: Leccy cars

Ive just moved to Intelligent Octopus which gives us 7.5p charging from 23:30 - 05:30 but, unlike others i looked at doesn't then load the daytime tariff. Looking at EDF etc before it was never worth it for us. The best bit is you link octopus to your car's app and it then works out a charging sche...
