Re: Anybody know this car?
To be honest Im quite savvy with the mechanicals on cars, I do most of my own work on them and have done for the last 10years or so, mostly VW's though. I suppose I need Elise specifc parts to watch for. I think I asked this question before so I'll have a look through my old posts. Still undecided w...

Re: Anybody know this car?
Probably the same car, the guy has been using it he said. Price wise its not too bad if you look at some other at dealer with that mileage. Should it be due any big jobs soon like timing belts etc? I spoke to him and he said it had some upgrade radiator that should never need replaced. Sounds like B...

Re: Recommend a V8 for a mate
Audi S4. 4wd, 4.2l V8, 344bhp and it sounds brilliant and half the price of an RS4. Funnily enough Ive got one for sale, Avant as well so nice and sensible with Milltek exhaust.

Re: Anybody know this car?
Yeah I know he has had it since last year. Ive had no joy getting rid of my S4 so probably going to have to trade it in and its about the only one at a garage up here. There one at Murrays but its quite high mileage.

Anybody know this car?
Might be looking to get an Elise and found this one close by. Anybody owned this before? Seems quite a rare colour.

Re: Project V6 Elise
Some impressive work here. Im a V6 man myself, love them so wish you the best with getting this done. Has anyone considered using the VAG 24v VR engine as this is a narrow bank V6? Im a VW man and its a relatively small, narrow engine with a lovely note. An R32'd Elise would be amazing. Sadly, heav...

Audi S4 Avant
Im doing a lot more miles than anticipated this year so going to see if I can sell this and get something a tad more economical. Audi S4 avant, 2004, 4.2l, 344bhp as standard. Nogaro blue colour with full electric black leather interior and carbon fibre inserts. Manual. Just turned 79kmiles. Full Au...

Re: B&C 160 upgrade.
Will do, I think Id prefer an almost standard car if Im honest. There something telling me the purple one has had a hard life, Im just going for a shot to see what its like. One of the reasons Im thinking of changing is Im getting bored of modified cars.

Re: B&C 160 upgrade.
It will make no difference to reliability, in fact if the head had been checked properly before it was worked on, and fitted with a good gasket, it could be the opposite. tut TBH that was what I was thinking. If it still there Im going for a look next week. Ive beed trying to find the power / torqu...

B&C 160 upgrade.
Im considering looking at the cars below but Im just wondering if the B&C 160 upgrade is any good? Will this reduce relaibility of the car in anyway and does it put any undue stress on the engine? Does it take any of the day to day driveability out of the car or is it all win win with this? http://w...
Re: Morning
Fraid not, its red. Its a bit special as well in that its a VR turbo so it doesnt exactly hang about. Thats my dilema though. I would need to sell it before I can buy an Elise however I will never ever find another Corrado like this one. Everything is basically brand new and is such a great machine....
Re: Morning
One question about that purple one. I take it the diffuser and rear wing are not Lotus parts? Are the just for show or are they proven to work? I could live with most of it to be honest expect the steering wheel and gearknob.
