Re: Range Rover L322 Experience

I ran one for about three years and got it up to 155k miles. One of the best cars I ever owned - the only problem I had was one of my own making, accidentally driving it into a ditch after golfing one day with jj. That resulted in a £6k insurance repair but I *think* that was the only problem I ever...

A word of caution, the new Air King. It's not a dead cert to hold its value like other S/S sports rolex

Re: The Grand Tour thread

The Rangey's just a big box.. Eh? The only car that has genuine off-road capability in a segment about SUVs is 'just a big box' yet the jag with its road chassis with road-car handling, designed as a box as it's fashionable yet that's the one that's aspirational? Go figure. [Very muddy Range Rover ...

Re: Exige Race 380 - £120,000

I fear we're coming at this from the wrong perspective; compare it to the competition. There's clearly a market for track only cars that aren't exactly bargains - Vulcan, FXX, P1 GTR. Granted the lotus isn't in the same league necessarily but will it be a tenth as good as those £1.2m specials? It'll...

Re: Audi R8 V10 thoughts????

Sorry, but anyone driving an NSX today will be mightily disappointed, sub 300 bhp in this day and age will feel awful. Granted in a 250 SWB I wouldn't be complaining but the NSX isn't pretty enough on its own to justify being talked about in this context. I think you'll buy the R8, Jim. It'll be a g...

The death sweep winnings remain unclaimed. Suppose that means me and Benny both owe you a pint.

I remember that night - Spiegel Tent. Over eight years ago. Wonder how many kids we've all managed to infect the world with since then!

Cracking car. Hope you got what you wanted for her ££ wise.

Re: New Top Gear

I don't watch TG for hatchback/runaround reviews. Go test drive them yourself. I like seeing cars I will never be able to afford being driven hard.
