Re: Williams F1 Team

Well at least they both finished the first race - last of the runners but not last overall due to 3 non-finishers. Can’t see how they are going to be able to score any points this year :(

Williams F1 Team

Their practice times are woeful. 1.5 to 2 seconds behind 18th position, firmly stuck in the last two spots of all practice sessions by quite a margin. Just within the 107% of fastest time so a chance they may not officially qualify although I recall in the past if the other teams agree then they can...

Re: The evora replacement

Nice choice. On my list too for the Evora replacement in due course, which would normally be this summer as have always changed after 3 years but just don’t feel ready to move on from the Evora yet. I have grown more fond and appreciative of it as time has gone on rather than restless and looking to...

Re: Vacuum hoses and t-pieces

I had a need for a high temp coupling a few weeks ago and ordered a silicone one from these guys. I see they also do vacuum hoses.

I did have some hassle with my order so can understand how their satisfaction rating is quite low, but got there in the end.

Oh no. Really sorry to hear that. I’ve just spent 10 mins going through all the pages in this thread - it’s a great reflection of his life and a real mix of photos of all ages, and you have that cracking oil painting too. Feel for you both.

Re: Cashless society...

Perhaps a generational thing too. I still find it strange when I see people using contactless in the cafe at work for things that cost less than £1. Contactless is great, but I just can’t bring myself to use it to pay for things that cost 20p.

Doing well, even if family life can be a bit of a rollercoaster with teenage girls! Whilst not on here much recently I have followed your work exploits via LinkedIn and pleased to see how busy you seem to be. :thumbsup

Re: Watch lovers?

Can anyone recommend a Tag dealer in the Edinburgh area to get a couple of Tags services. The battery has now died on Sandra's Formula 1 and my Gulf Formula 1 is staring to show signs that the battery being on its way out. Ideally looking for an official Tag dealer if we can. George Laings on corne...

When logging in are you ticking the box saying "keep me logged in" ?
:thumbsup Cheers! That seems to have done the trick. It’s the ‘Remember Me’ tick box. Didn’t seem to need it before but has solved the problem. :thumbsup

Re: Watch lovers?

I have a Sinn, worst watch I ever bought. Flew home one time and the face exploded outward, very fragile and not very accurate. Had to get the glass, which is actually plastic, replaced before it blew up. Complete waste of money. Sorry and surprised to hear that. I owned a Sinn 956 for abou...

Re: Schumacher at 50 - BBC F1 article

Yes, read that on BBC website the other day. Although Benson gets a hard time in the comments - and generally - for being unable to write anything F1 related without finding a way to insert something that praises Hamilton.

Annual spot of the Steve-Weegie chariot

My once a year visit to the sister in law for New Year sees me pass by. Doesn't look to have moved since same time last year. In fact may be even further away behind other Weegie cars/sheds !

Forum logging me out on mobile devices

Hi all
Not been on here much and have found the last week when trying to log in on either the iphone or ipad (I don't use tapatalk) it instantly logs me out again as soon as I change screen. No problem on desktop which I am using to post this. Anyone else having this problem?
