I no longer have my Elise so these are sitting about at my friends garage.
Rears are 225/45/17 and depth wise are about 2.5mm.
Fronts are 175/55/16 and are 5mm
£60 should do it. Located in Fife

Re: SeaSucker
I had a VW up for a while and the metal roof on it was so thin, it flexed quite a lot. I would only carry one bike on that roof.

Re: SeaSucker
How did you convert between the mini bomber and the talon? I think it should fit ok, I was more worried about the roof of the car not liking a bike hanging off it. If it was a car with a conventional steel roof I wouldn't have thought about it. I keep being tempted by a GT86, how you find yours? I ...

Re: SeaSucker
I have a seasucker that I have used for the last couple of years. Never tried it on an Evora but you are more than welcome to see how it fits. I had a mini bomber 2 bike rack initially but have converted it to the talon single bike carrier now as it fits my current car better. http://i5.photobucket....

I've used a company called autoaid. £42.54 per year and covers any car you are driving. Covers you and your spouse. Basically it is an insurance policy, you pay the recovery guy and claim it back from autoaid. My sister had to use them a couple of years ago and she didn't actually have to pay the re...

Re: Another new car - Silver VXT
I think we will need a Lego Elise sub forum at this rate :D I had a silver VXT for 4 1/2 years, then downgraded to an S3 Elise S for 6 months. Back in another VX again, though only an NA. Might go down the SC route at some point. If you are going to track it, get an alloy air intake pipe. The plasti...

Re: Nitron Streets
Minimum cost of a rebuild from bilstein is £80 +vat per shock. If it needs a new piston then add another £25 + vat. I wanted to get my VX ones refurbished but was quoted £500 and they'd said there is no warranty on the work. Nitrons for me then, shame as I wanted to keep the compliance of the bilste...

Wanted: VX220 shocks/springs
Long shot, but does anyone have any springs/dampers for a NA 2.2 VX220? My car has the std bilstein shocks fitted with eibach lowering springs. I am wanting to refit the correct springs.
Cheers.
Cheers.

They get their hardtops from here as far as I know :
http://www.lotushardtops.com/hardtops
I had one on my old vx and it was perfect.

Just joined the strava group. Not done much this year so any bit of motivation can't be bad!
