After 12 and half years of ownership, it is with heavy heart I offer my beloved S1 Elise for sale. http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a33/sgjyounger/IMG_4706.jpg http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/322212143618 Car was first registered in June 2000 and had two owners prior to my taking it on in Feb 2004. Thanks, Willowbrae have come back with an appointment on Wednesday to get an estimate. So I'll deal direct. I would like to crack on with things so it will be interesting to see what lead times they give for the work

Bodyshop for front clam tidy up in Edinburgh?
Hi there, Looking for a Bodyshop in Edinburgh to tidy up the other people's parking dings before the Elise finally goes on the marking (was suppose to be the end of May, but my new car was delayed two months). I've called Willowbrae and the umming and erring about if someone would call me back doesn...

My Elise coming to market: end May/early June
Hallo All, Due separation from my Wife, I'm replacing my dear old Elise S1 with something more practical as it's now my only car. Unfortunately, 2 boys plus 1 Daddy into 2 seats does not go... I have an order in for an M235i which should be arriving in late May or early June and I'll be looking to s...

Re: Riverside Museum - sneaky peek (some Lotus content)
Went today with my 18 month old, he (& I) totally loved it.
Got there at 10:15 and it was already really busy.
Little lad really loved the South African loco (I'd promised him choo-choos) and somewat bizarrely was fascinated by the invalid car.

Anyone thinking of selling a flat in Edin...
Specifically a 4 bed (or 3 bed and a decent sized box room) ground floor flat in Marchmont/Bruntsfield/Edinburgh? We're in the perverse position of having been able to sell our place (we thought the market was crap and it wouldn't shift but it went in less than 4 weeks) and we can't find anything ri...

Re: NLC forward facing Scamera on Corpstorphine Rd?
Yes I was joking about the cabs being exempt. :thumbsup I think people (who don't know the limit) see the bit at the zoo and that it's two lans and assume that it's 40. Like people who still think the western approach road is a 40 up to the Morrison st bridge (when it now stops way back near Fountai...

Re: NLC forward facing Scamera on Corpstorphine Rd?
I thought it was a 40 all along that road?! I think part of it may have been back in the day (circa 90s), but for a while it's been 30 since the PC world roundabout through to town. The black cabs and private hire cars are, of course, *exempt* from this limit and speed past in the green lane or har...

NLC forward facing Scamera on Corpstorphine Rd?
Mrs was drving to the airport to catch the "oh-bleep-o-clock" flight to Stanstead this morning. So head out of town on the Corstorphine Rd. She was getting harrassed by Taxi's undertaking her doing well over the 30 limit at the Zoo. In an attempt to move into the inside lane to let them past she thi...
