Good luck cleaning the viper - I tried to clean Mandys at the weekend as it's beyond me how the hell you clean it properly - it appears to be bonded to the CF bit!!!! I ended up poking it though with a coke can and giving it a bit of a rub and blow through with some compressed air. What you guys ge...

The Pipercross induction system fitted to my car uses foam (or rather oil in the foam) to filter out particles from the air going into the engine. It is a good idea to keep this foam and oil cleaned regurarily to stop crap getting into your engine - or indeed the foam from beaking down and depositin...

Cheers mate. Will give it a go over the next few days and will try and take a few pics along the way. One of the (many) good things about this forum is being given just that wee bit of confidence before you start dismantling your pride and joy! Especially if you're as clueless as me... Thanks...

Pipercross Viper (111R) cleaning

All this talk about keeping the foam clean has got me worried. So I've got the cleaning stuff and now need to do the actual work. The system was fitted by MMC so haven't really got much of a clue where to start. Do I just slacken off one of the hose clip things and remove the whole thing, then go ab...

Black S2 and Red Esprit

As the weather was good and the students are still around, thought I'd take the "scenic" route home (so much better than the expressway).
Saw a nice black S2, then a red Esprit parked up on Byres road - very smart.
TVRs and all sorts were out, Sainsbury's was mobbed - you should have seen the queues!

Think either night suits, but will know better nearer the time.

While I was going round with Sarah we got checkered flaged and she had to go into the building. We continued the session, however at the end she said that she'd been told not to do any more. Don't know the reasons given and don't see why Knockhill could be against it. Thought it was a great intro to...

That was the bird out for a cruise. Afraid you didn't make much of an impression - she doesn't seem to remember you, though she does recon she saw another two Elises - one silver and one black while out using up my petrol! Keep telling her, if she's got another fella, better not take the Elise for a...

I do the same thing every night when I park outside due to heavy rain setting the alarm off.
Wasn't going down well with the neighbours every time it started to rain heavily at 3am!
Seems to work, though hoping that now into "summer", I'll not need to do it.
