Re: Rover 75 turbo engine
I believe the 1.8T engine has slightly shorter rods to lower the compression, other than that i think the head will be a standard 1.8K. Can i ask what was all coming with the engine? I wouldn't mind having the bottom end and exhaust manifold/ turbo to mess about with! If you buy the engine for the h...

Re: Throttle Bodies etc.
Tut talketh some truth ;) Most people would only consider the TB route after going big guns on the head, but I've not chosen to do that. The engine i bought (VVC, standard) came with an Emerald dyno readout of 167 bhp on a 4-2-1 & I had the TB's & ECU anyway. Bolted on my 4-2-1, TB's and Emerald & ...

Re: VVC Short block to std head?
The EU2 engine's have the coil packs on the rear of the block, 99% of these are the 143bhp engine. (Red and black plugs on ECU) The EU3 engine's have 2 coil's mounted on top of the plug's, each coil fire's 2 plug's. These are 160bhp ensine's. I have recently heard there was a very small amount of 14...

Re: Few Emerald wiring queries on VVC..
I have it all wired now for the VVC and it has ran for a few seconds with whatever map is in it at the moment. (Not even a VVC one!) I had originally changed the injector wiring from sequential to paired on Dave Andrew's advice (He accidently gave me the wrong wiring i think), but it's now back to s...

Re: Few Emerald wiring queries on VVC..
My Emerald is a K3. :P I have the Emerald pin-out in my manual but i dont know where the VVC solenoids go to. Dave Andrews has gave me the info on another forum just now, hopefully ill get it all wired. As for sequential injection, why would i benefit from this? Is there more power to be had? I thou...

Few Emerald wiring queries on VVC..
Hi guy's, i have a VVC which im fitting an Emerald to. It's the MEM's 2j one with red and black plug. Best gearbox oil / mixture to use for Torsen LSD?
Hi folk's, i've fitted a Torsen T-2 (Type B) limited slip diff to my gearbox and im not sure what oil would be the best. I know you get different oil for LSD gearboxes but which is best? Also, i see in Demon Tweeks that there is LSD gear oil and also a seperate bottle of fluid that can be added to c...

65mm Throttle body, already modified with correct sensor etc
Hi guy's, i have the rare turbo 56mm throttle body ive had on my VVC. It's a Turbo one so has the right throttle sensor, not like most which will eventually cause damage to your engine! It also has the K series cable lobe, cable mount, a throttle stop, polished aluminium blank plate, idle valve take...
