My S1 111S drivers seat has a worn bolster. What was the outcome of this thread?

ECU and immobilser and fobs for S1 VVC K series. Can be borrowed if thats what you need to get going.

I will be trailering mine down so if you pass a black ML and a yellow S1 on the trailer give me a wave :welcome I will keep a look out for your trailer. Turns out I dont need to press any buttons on the square keyfob. Just press the button on the Cobra fob as before and thats all I have to do. Dont know why I dont have to use the square fob too but its all good.

Lotus fixed. If your fault symptoms are the same as mine - starts and runs normally for 2 seconds - it could certainly be the Lucas 5AS immobiliser/ECU. Replaced my 5AS and ECU with a set off Ebay. Fault now clear. Only thing is I now have Rover fob button to press as well as the Cobra.

Tut - just caught this thread. The "I am just back form Oban" email reply means something now!

Craig - Thanks, I will borrow scope when I get home. I just need to find a white lab coat.
