BMW X5 Garage Clearout: Wheels, Tyres, Roof Bars and Dog Guard

I'm having a garage clear out and have a number bulky of BMW X5 items I need to move on to create some space, I've advertised them individually on Gumtree so please look there if they are of any interest and, of course, there will be discounts available for SE members: SOLD - BMW X5, E70, M Sport Al...

Re: Suggestions for a Good 3-4 Hour Drive From Edinburgh

:thumbsup is there still the temporary bridge in Glen Devon? Where do you stay in Edinburgh? The Lotus Ecosse group are meeting at Luca's in Musselburgh at 9.30am on Sunday for a drive down to Duns. I’m sure there was a temporary bridge with traffic lights around Glen Devon, I didn’t have to stop s...

Re: Suggestions for a Good 3-4 Hour Drive From Edinburgh

Many thanks for the suggestions; I went with Dominic’s first option which was absolutely brilliant, had a great evening for it and once I was past the Queensferry crossing the roads were pretty empty until I got to Callander. Hopefully I’ll get to do it again soon and also try the other routes sugge...

Suggestions for a Good 3-4 Hour Drive From Edinburgh

It’s not often I get the time to be able to go for a drive for the sake of it but have some spare time tomorrow afternoon and fancied taking the Evora out for a decent bit of exercise, unfortunately I’m lacking a little inspiration so was wondering if anyone could recommend a good route that would b...

Re: Anyone bought a new car recently?

It’s been around 12 years since I had a Porsche and after a few visits I ended up avoiding the OPC in Edinburgh and definitely wouldn’t go back.

Re: Evora Seats

Guys, Many thanks for the prompt responses. Ed, it is Junks on Seloc I’ve been in contact with regarding the seat covers, the YouTube video was exactly what I was looking for, it looks like a bit of a mission to re-cover the seats myself, it’s good to know what’s involved. Renmure, it’s good to know...

Evora Seats

About a year and a half ago I bought a 2010 Evora and despite its high mileage it looks and drives brilliantly thanks to some TLC from Craig Moncrieff and his team. I’ve had a slight niggle with some seat and bolster wear and discolouration of the Oyster leather but it’s never bothered me enough to ...

Builder Recommendation

Can anyone recommend a good builder that would work in Edinburgh? - I'm doing a fairly extensive extension and renovation and would appreciate it if anyone had any recent positive experiences? I've done a quick search on here but the builder recommendations go back almost a decade so possibly not th...

Re: Thoughts on property prices

Agree, timing is everything and I think prices will fall slightly in the short term and there will be bargains to be had as I expect there will be a lot of distressed sellers, especially when furlough ends and we can see the lie if the land. Depending on what happens in the wider economy will drive ...
