Stu Pollock would be your best bet - though he's in Livingston - you could drop him a PM. Of course there are bound to be useful machine shops in Dunfermline, but I don't know who!
Would that be pollock precision engineering? I don't mind travelling for somewhere willing to take it on.

Machine shop near Fife

Hi all, can anyone recommend a machine shop near Dunfermline? I'm in need of some lathe work to move a circlip groove further up a driveshaft and I'm not sure where to look. Even if someone on here has the capability?

Oh Dan, I think I might contest you about this, I've been fettling my bodywork for about 18 months, can you beat that?
I think I'm on 5 years or so now :ROFL

To be fair though I did end up making my own moulds etc in the process

Re: S1 Elise Motorsport replica project

Just seen this (I don't come on here very often) looking good so far, I think I must have taken longer than anyone in history just to fit the bodywork on mine.
Looking forward to seeing all the bodywork fitted to the car.

Anyone have an s1 Elise with the front clam off in the next few days?

As title I'm looking for someone with their front clam removed (s1 Elise only), who wouldn't mind a free set of upgraded door springs.

S1 exige/motorsport conversion roof (non genuine)

For sale I have my original motorsport body conversion roof that has been fettled for correct fitment. The roof was used to take a mold for my carbon fibre roof and is now no longer required, the molding process has caused some damage to the roof in the form of pulled paint/filler as well as some cr...

Re: lotus and LSDs

I can't really comment from a technical point of view, only my experience of how the car felt to drive so here goes.. On road tyres (ad08's) the car would noticeably understeer if any sort of power was applied through the corner, on track tyres (r888's) I never noticed any understeer, on both sets o...

B4BP ratio gearbox with Torsen LSD

For sale i have my pg1 gearbox with B4BP gearset using the slightly longer 5th gear.
