Re: Elise hire

Hi Rogan, I see you took me up on my suggestion to stick your head above parapet over here. Another welcome. My son (28) is taking delivery of his 1st Lotus, an Elise s3 1.6 later this week, from Craig. Although he has sat beside me plenty he has only briefly driven mine but 2nd hand prices and insu...

Re: SIDC 14th May

I assume it is okay to come along and spectate mainly to see how the day is etc. with a view to taking part in future. Only ever once tracked my car and that was back in Porker days yonks ago so consider myself a newbie although I have marshalled there for almost 40 years. My youngest (28!) has just...

Not sure if they would do just a garage but although early doors very impressed so far albeit at the other end of a build project. They don't have a website. It is all word of mouth according to partner I'm dealing with and my ...

Re: 12 days in to Evora ownership

:thumbsup :cheers Good choice and nice car. The very first one I saw in the flesh was white some 7 years ago now at the factory pre-launch and it looked the business then and we would have ordered in white then but we wanted the Oyster interior which just didn't go and looked 'dirty' and the whole e...

Re: No Loti outside Murrays

Going back to original post with complaints it should be pointed out Monday is Brandon's normal day off so certainly not representative of the normal service and greeting. :thumbsup Shame for you and does not excuse the other salespersons or reception desk staff. :? If you are considering "previousl...

What I had in my head at the time of writing was the Elise parked just behind this monster truck of a Dodge Ram that wouldn't even feel the Elise if you drove over it! Re: Craig Moncrieff thank you.

Big thanks to Craig. I had left my car with him for 4 weeks while offshore for a number of things to be done from some body parts being replaced at rear, changing A pillar trims to Carbon, adding the front splitter, arranging wheels to be refurbished, upgrading the ICE to DAB radio and identifying a...

Re: sputtering evora

I run my S on Nitro almost exclusively after being advised to by non other than Craig after car ended up in limp mode on with gunk from Tesco standard fuel. Over on TLF in Evora section there is a similar thread which has factory posts which basically say the N/A will not benefit from higher octanes...

Re: Heated screen?

I had an Evora a screen replaced years ago when car was in at MMC for other things by Autoglass when CMC was in charge. He had to stop them damaging the car and he took the clam off which is required on an Evora to do it right. They would have bodged it otherwise and other posts over on TLF indicate...

Re: Craig Moncrieff thank you.

I'm told it is in hand :thumbsup as like you I'm in the wilderness and quite like it! I only know that much as I offered my son's skill set a while back (as his job) and Craig has done work on his MX5 previously.
