how you doing mike? yeah the clio went to its new home the other day - was using it as a winter run about.

Need to start using the C63 more, which im sure wont be too much of a problem!

ah i knew youo were into your evo's for a while.

Ive had a run of cars since you bought the 172.... , 911, RS4, R35 GTR, Focus RS then onto this. Got a clio RS 200 for the daily hack. but thinking thats gonna go soon for an RS6.

not too sure how long i'll keep this lol

not sure, its sticky backed so not sure how moisture would get in there.

the whole front of the exige is covered in it and its not been a problem on that so far. it will prevent the powder coat chipping which is my main aim.

cheers lee :D the last owner was from Dunbarton i think so it does explain a lot. I spoke to Craig today and as always was helpful, also received an email back from lotus advising that the brackets etc etc werent covered by their warrenty, which i already knew. the fronts came off today and are up a...

Cheers for the advice guys,

The nuts and bolts were changed for a suspension refresh kit from seriously lotus. I spoke to him about it and they are of equivalent strength to the originals. None of the engine mounting bolts were changed.

cheers for your post kinger. i wouldnt say im disapointed in the car - just the quality of what its made from. i did a lot of research on the exige before i bought it and although sub standard quality parts were mentioned over and over again I have never seen any pictures of one rusting quite as bad...
