Re: Another new home for Scottish Elises?
Hello, Hope all are well? Blowing the cobwebs off my login to comment! I recall all of the systems we've used since 1999 and I'd also agree that moving to a newer more accessible 'forum' is a good plan. I've used Groups on WA for a while for music business-related work and I have to say despite my i...

Re: Tesla Model 3
One pedal is truly magic. I miss the insane engine (regen) braking every time I drive the Audi and resent having to press the brake pedal. First world problems, eh! I find the same, when I jump into one of the vans or the other half's car, it takes a moment to reset the thinking that this thing isn...

Re: Tesla Model 3
Couldn’t justify a Performance with the M4 on the drive. So went with a Long range. Everyday commuting I have the Performance in Chill mode, the difference Performance mode makes is stupid.. I'm really not convinced there's any need for it   I'm yet to try track mode or drift mode but I...

Re: Tesla Model 3
Sweet, welcome to the dark side. I take it you got the Performance model too, great fun eh? ;) Did you get the email from Tesla about the free winter pack? Just ordered mine, £50 set of front mudflaps and spray guards for free, nice. Also the PlugShare app is better than the Chargeplace Scotland app...

Re: Tesla Model 3
True! Although apart from the occasional ribbing for not taking delivery of the Mustang, it’s not a hardship

Lolz, I can just imagine what his tutness would have said to all us EV owners
Love my Model 3 performance. I don't think I'd go back to petrol based vehicles again, I've got too used to saving so much money it should be a crime.

Re: SE on WhatsApp
Inevitably some people got missed or rather, weren't invited in time before the cap was imposed. We even forgot to invite Verian for crying out load Ooh point in fact Mike, I did invite Verian when I was sussing out the original lie of the land, but she was already going to Ireland to see Claire. T...

Re: Battery light permanently on - S2 K-series
Thanks to all, went for an 80 quid unit with warranty, what a pig of a job, not complicated but with spade-like hands it was tight as a nun. Anyway, the new unit is on, battery light is off again and after a run today the battery is holding charge nicely. Time was you could get alternators on an exc...

Weird vacuum/pressure ball in o/s wheel arch - S2 K series
As the title says, whilst changing the alternator (what a faff on, don't get me started) came across this weird plastic ball that appears to be a vacuum/pressure collector/regulator perhaps? Anyway the 2 red silicone hoses that should be attached to it weren't. So I attached them. All was fine until...

Re: Medical update.
Proof of the pudding though will be how everyday breathing goes. If that does not nose dive then I will be pretty optimistic. Good news is that the drug course is oral so no need to be hooked up to machines, just into Hospital monthly for check overs. I have to reach a certain level on the extended...

Re: Insurance claim – non fault accident
Anyone else got their car in for repair just now or am I just unlucky? I put my car in in November 2015 and I'm still waiting. The grills for the Exige are my problem. The supplier to Lotus has gone out of business. I've had to push all the way and eventually tried to sort them out myself. My exper...

Re: Battery light permanently on - S2 K-series
Thanks tut, yeah the Denso one has the nut connections whereas mine looks like the 2-pin plug so I'll need to go for the other one. I have a mate in the NE of Englandshire who can accept deliveries for me and post on. At least he knows the Highlands has a decent delivery network and paved roads...
