Re: Mainly for Robin.
After talking a little about Audi engines in another thread I can only assume you have went for the 225 Robin?
I had a read about the differences myself and have a rough idea how I would do things, so would be very interested to hear how you are doing it.

It looks like a not so good version of the Spyker C8, to put it politely.

Re: Audi/Honda pax ride
I think the rev happy nature may have a lot to do with it. Lazy torque from the ubiquitous 1.8T doesn't really feel like an Elise. May as well put a TDI in there eh :-) Haha maybe you are on to something there, TDI tuning is very popular these days. Robin - So there was a change in the 225 lu...

Re: Audi/Honda pax ride
Campbell - I can see why people would opt for the Honda with it's rev happy lesser torque characteristics, but surely there is no lack of 1.8t 20v engines in the world.
Dipper - much appreciated for the offer, where about are you located?

Re: Audi/Honda pax ride
I take it there isn't too many Audi Elise owners around then? The focus seems to be mainly on Honda conversions.

Re: Audi/Honda pax ride
Hi Sandy, not going to give up the opportunity for hurl in an S1 Exige anyway. If I remember correctly you would be one of the last houses on the left before the roundabout? Can't be too many laser blue Exige on the Dunkeld road! ha. I am off for 4 weeks from mid June so if you are free I will come ...

Audi/Honda pax ride
Reaching out here folks, wondering if anyone with either an Audi or Honda conversion Elise would be interested in taking me out in it? I have done a fair bit of reading since joining SE and Seloc and it really does seem to be a hot topic, just trying to see what all the fuss is about. Not saying I a...

Re: First Elise.........first Lotus
Cheers for the warm welcome folks. To answer a few questions; I am based in Perth. Breakfast on the 1st? Am I being hit on already? haha. Afraid not, I work offshore and won't be back till mid June. Some of you may know the car, I bought it from a chap named Paul Gibson (I think he mentioned your na...

First Elise.........first Lotus
Hi folks,
bought my first Elise last week, an Azure blue S1. A bit different from my usual jap turbo inspired wagon that's for sure but so far enjoying every minute of it.
Thought I had better say hello since you all sound like a friendly bunch.
So hello folks.
Cheers Alyn
