Re: Taking my Elise to Dubai

Thanks for the feedback and advice guys. I think I've not really much option based on the facts and would be silly to look any further into taking it :(

Anyone in the market drop me a pm!

Taking my Elise to Dubai

Am I crazy? I'm moving to Dubai end of August and up till now had thought the only option was to sell my S2 Elise, however I'm now thinking about taking her with me... Lots to consider such as import tax, exporting it there and also would the k series handle the desert heat? It's on pistonheads now ...

Re: Monaco

Friday is no race day, it's the opportunity to walk the track and have a few drinks at one of the pop up bars that appear on the circuit. Me and the Mrs went two years ago, would highly recommend it! Sitting on the track swigging a beer while Red Bull practice pit stops behind you outside their gara...

Re: Elise S2 K Series OSR brake caliper

Yeah Rover, they are both the same price so thought it made sense to get the sports option. Its also 2KG lighter than the standard cat.

Thanks chaps!

Another question, the cat needs changed.. Do I opt for the standard aftermarket or the high flow version which is road legal according to the website?

Need to replace it for the MOT, just wondering if anyone on here has one surplus to requirement they would like to sell? :)

Best aftermarket S2 sports exhaust?

So, my standard S2 exhaust has decided to rattle, the baffles sound like they have given up so its time to replace the silencer. What is the best value, sounding and potentially power increasing can to stick on her? I don't want to spend a fortune as she might be up for sale soon as I'm moving to Ab...

Re: N3 TUT

I think giving it away for a year is very generous but slightly risky even to someone reliable. Lets be honest things happen and peoples circumstances financially can change. If it was me, I'd look at renting her out. The car gets some use but always back to you and any money made can be put back in...

Re: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary car park

This happened to me last week, parked at the quietest corner of the supermarket car park with no other cars within about 40 spaces and some nice chap in a van decided to park right next to me. Had to climb in from the passenger side. If there had been another car at the other side I would have been ...
