Re: Dreaded Clutch Problem (Sport350)

I live in hope that this is the case! I hope so too, for a sense of normality more than anything else :thumbsup Love your Exige by the way Simon. The carbon seats, carbon front access panel and open gate stick really make the difference 8) most of the best bits from a 380 ! looks amazing. Best of l...

Re: Dreaded Clutch Problem (Sport350)

I don't think you should let my experience put you off a V6 it was more about the warranty support and the dealer than the car, they are epic and otherwise very reliable. I know the guy who eventually got mine and he's driven it hard done several track days in it now and I'ts fine since Craig sorted...

Re: Hot Tub

Cheers Lads, we’ve actually narrowed it down to a tub stocked by GrizzlyBear they seem to get decent recommendations on the Facebook group I joined and the tubs are US made and CEC energy rated so so running costs should be good. Good to know there a personal recommendation in there. Got the landsca...

Hot Tub

Anyone put one in? Care to share your experience? We’re in the process of lining up the landscaper to put the base in and extend the patio. Just looking to try and decide which hot tub to go for and interested in anyone’s experience. Running costs are a top priority along with reliability so don’t m...

Re: Knockhill, Saturday 21st March 9-1

I think given how things are panning out it would be pretty irresponsible For KH to proceed. I was very much ‘this’ll pass, won’t be that bad, a few minor changes’ etc etc. But it’s rapidly escalating into a total clusterfcuk. I’m in WhatsApp chats with a few GP’s and they have totally changed their...

I know there are a few M owners in here, I a set of the above wheels With TPMS for sale, 14 months old as new condition with good MPSS tyres that have covered only 1200 miles. Re: Are track days all you do in your Lotus then?

Group road runs don’t do it for me, not a massive fan of driving in convoy at 125mph trying to keep up with others who have taken many brave pills. Not really a fan of meets where people just stand around and chat/look at cars, Defo think more beers/curry nights are in order. I’ve been to a couple o...

Re: Caterham K or Sigma

You certainly seem to get more performance per pound out a Westfield for sure, the double wishbone suspension is interesting. My fear was/is that the horror stories of build quality issues given they are kit cars was a real concern and that I should try and aim for a factory built Cat. But given It’...

Re: Recommended Insurers

Last time I was insured by Matt it was capped at 5 days that was in the 350. Couldn’t add more, he mumbled something about change of underwriter, in the 240 it was always 6 then you could prepay like 30-50 quid per day for any additional days if you wanted. He was always so casual I was never 100% c...

Re: Recommended Insurers

Just top up your track days with a specialist, Moris were quite competitive, quoted me 620 for 6 track days at agreed value 34k, 1500 excess, just don’t pay as you go. They were 300 odd for one day. The more you do the less each individual day cost.

Re: Caterham K or Sigma

I thought HGF was a lotus /MG thing due to the mid mounting, hot engine bay and extra stress on the water pump at low revs with the resistance of the long hoses to the front. Reading through the Caterham groups there doesn’t seem to be many HGF complaints. I do like a revvy lump.
