Re: Tesla Model 3
Well... I drove the M4 today after a fortnight and 4 or 500 miles in the model 3, I was genuinely nervous that I’d have ruined it. The good news is, and I realised this coming off a roundabout with about a 1/4 to a half turn of opposite lock, that the model 3 whilst very very good is basically an AW...

Re: Tesla Model 3
I know there is no dedicated battery heater, I think it just vibrates the stator with some fancy electromagnetic waves and runs coolant past the motor to heat the battery. Whether the heat pump draws the energy from this I don’t know but it makes sense to from an efficiency perspective but might be ...

Re: Tesla Model 3
Observations after 150or so miles in the Tesla... It’s fcuk quick off the mark, drives very well. It’s been put together properly, 1minor niggle. Autopilot is witchcraft and amazing, drive to-from Edinburgh car did 75% - 80%, I did lane changes and junctions and traffic lights. Not having to correct...

It’s going mental... now at number 34 in the UK Apple Music Chart. Charts as I’m finding out are confusing, but radio stations now picking it up.

Wouldn’t Change A Thing. What do you see?
My son Aaron’s Grandfather Tom, Miniblonde’s Dad, wrote the lyrics to the Christmas campaign for the Down’s syndrome awareness charity Wouldn’t Change a Thing. It was inspired by a photo of Aaron and our friends’ Daughter Rosie who happens to have an extra chromosome. It quickly gathered momentum an...

Re: 2030 - No more new ICE
Can’t ignore the cost savings either. My leccy rate averages 5p Per KWh (sometimes I’m being paid to use) when I’d be charging the car so that’s £0.015 per mile vs about £0.25 which turns a £250 a month diesel bill into 15quid (which I’ve easy recouped and more by being smarter with my leccy tariff...
