Re: Craig Moncrieff thank you.
Took the Evora Sport 410 to Craig yesterday - big 4 year service so spark plugs, all belts, all fluids etc. Big bill but considerably smaller than the Dealers prices and safe in the knowledge that everything would have been actually done, as opposed to a checklist being ticked to say it was done! Gr...

Re: Lotus teaser/launch update link
Matt Windle of Lotus stated that "we are between Cayman and 911, but much closer to Cayman" when discussing pricing with Car Magazine. So to me, that does not translate to an £84k starting price, though I do accept that could be the entry price for the V6 variant, but more a £50-55k price - I believ...

Re: Lotus teaser/launch update link
Isn't the cheapest 911 now £100k? Bit strong for a base Lotus or top end for that matter. Basic 911 without extras is £84k. Remember going in to Murrays and seeing a Lotus (430gt?) with a £121k price tag on it. Kinda splitting hairs, nobody ever bought a 911 without any options on it. But even at £...

Re: iRacing - Knockhill on way
They have their own dedicated laser scanning team and proprietary kit I believe and they scan the tracks themselves, that may be just be in the US, but believe they do scan the track themselves.

Spoke too soon. Such a shame.
Really pleased for Perez though. Hope we still see him in F1 next year.

Re: iRacing - Knockhill on way
My understanding is they scan themselves. They've got a good range of non US tracks and it's growing.

iRacing - Knockhill on way
For those of you who enjoy Simracing, Knockhill has been scanned and is in development for release in iRacing in 2021!

Re: Tesla Model 3
Tesla slated by Which? (As was the volvol XC90) for reliabilty. XC90 apparently UKs most unreliable car, Tesla the brand most owners report car issues with. Tesla does seem to win peoples hearts though and buyers seem keen to forgive the issues. Tesla must be the modern equivalent of the 70's/80's L...

I met her and her husband at the F1 Ball in London around 4 years ago. They were both hugely approachable, total petrolheads and had a great "racing rivalry" between them. Best of luck...

Re: Craig Moncrieff thank you.
Took my 410 Sport to Craig for its second service. Great experience as ever and superb service. Went home to Carse if Gowrie via Kincardine, Powmill, Crook of Devon, Gleneagles, Crieff, Amulree, Dunkeld, Blairgowrie, Alyth, Kirriemuir, Meigle and Luncarty. Bit of a circuitous route but what a drive!...

Re: I'll never get it (but each to his own)
You don't have the time to drive the car but you have the time to polish it? I'm trying to compute that logic given how long it takes to properly clean and polish a car. It's like having a sex crazed partner but deciding to watch porn instead of getting on with it? Missing the point. But then I supp...
