Re: Matt LeBlanc hosts Top Gear
Not bothered who presents it as long as it gets back to being a car prog, and not a vehicle for three twats with mahoosive egos dicking about....that said, Matt LB sounds a bit desperate for ratings......

Re: My Hero.
Lived through the Thatcher era and....in the early years she did a lot of good. The older folk on here, of which I'm one, saw Heath fall apart under N.U.M threats. She hammered the unions which were systematically destroying the British industries they claimed to support......and breath......lol.......

Is this the bit that helps keep the doors open? If so I hope it is possible without clam removal, as mine shut on me head with the lightest of breeze.....Jon

Re: The classic daily!
Had an S1 for a few weeks now, drive it every day in all weather....shower cap keeps the interior dry when it buckets it down....did some mods to wipers n lights, but it's no real issue in bad weather. Enjoy, best car I have ever owned for feedback and grip. Beats the hell out of my impreza in tight...

Re: S1 side scoops fitted
Hard to tell re power as the car is pretty quick with the mods already fitted, engine temps will have to measure....I imagine for track days etc they would really help but on your average road trip maybe more a style thing....Jon

LED side lights fitted on S1
Thought as my car is a daily driver, that some sort of side light upgrade was required.....the Lotus bulbs are, to say the least, poor. So got a pair of bright little led's off of Ebay, Look far better and I can now be seen!! Result. Bit of a wrist wrecker to fit mind.... :D http://www.ebay.co.uk/it...

Re: Dickhead of the Decade.
Not big and not clever......I like to drive fast too, but there are places where the risk to others is vastly reduced and the chances of being caught also. As above re village idiot comment. Must say what a sadly quiet car at that speed tho..lol.....Also I'm a believer in the anti 'Speed Kills' lobb...
